You start with a plot of land and the tutorial then sets about explaining all of the different types of buildings on offer, how you can research more structures. You initially start off with the usual tutorial teaching you the basics of how to collect the required resources to build more buildings that will in turn provide you with even more needed resources. In which way that it stands out will obviously depend heavily on your own opinions though. The game offers a different approach to others in this genre by focusing mainly on the single player campaign and it is something that really does make the game stand out. This is all done through a variety of different ages in time and is in the most part a single player game, though there is the option for PvP later once you have leveled up far enough.
Players are tasked with creating cities, harvesting resources, building and upgrading their armies and taking control of other provinces.
